True North was retained to assist with the demolition and redevelopment of a property in Madison, Wisconsin. True North completed a Phase I ESA and identified its former use as an auto body repair shop as a recognized environmental condition (REC). A Phase II ESA was completed to evaluate soil at the property.
Additionally, True North completed a Hazardous Materials Assessment of the property and coordinated abatement services for the identified asbestos-containing materials. True North also coordinated the segregation and disposal of multiple other hazardous wastes present prior to demolition. As a result of these efforts, True North was able to provide the client with a property that was easily financed and ready for demolition and development for expansion of existing facilities for Vanta’s biotech tenant.
