True North works with lenders, brokers and loan outsourcing providers to identify and mitigate their exposure to environmental liabilities through the performance of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Phase II Site Investigations on properties across the country. States assessed include California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, New York, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Wisconsin, Virginia, Tennessee, Michigan, Missouri, Kansas, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia, Louisiana, Nevada, Utah and Maryland.
Environmental due-diligence activities have been conducted to meet the requirements of conventional Small Business Administration (SBA) Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) 50 10 5 and United State Department of Agricultural (USDA) Rural Development Business and Industry loan programs. Phase I ESAs are performed in compliance with the scope and limitations of The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process (E1527-13) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) All Appropriate Inquiry (40 CFR 312). True North also performs record searches with risk assessments for properties.
